The Wires

The artwork is a rhythmic discussion in form of abstract wires. It is a net that combines and rips.

3D scanned people captured at different events and demonstrations for the source material for the installation. Real life people with different opinions and points of view became a powerful visual firework. It was originally designed for the Flow Festival for the lobby of Voimala. The Wires played amazingly well together with the techno beats present inside the building. Later, a version of the work has been made with its own soundscape and can thus also be presented in museum spaces.
