The Blow

The Blow gives the audience a concrete feeling that they are alive and that every movement counts. You can try to hide yourself but as soon as you move your finger or take a step you are not invisible anymore. The spectator can also let loose, move and play with the artwork, dance with The Blow.

The work consists of hair dryers that are hanging from the sealing in a dark room. The hair dryers respond to the movement of the spectator by going on and off. The dancer in the pictures is Erika Messo.
