Pasi Rauhala about cv

Kudos

Based on light and movement, Kudos is Rauhala’s tribute to the design and conceptual ideology of architect Matti Suuronen (1933–2013), the designer of Venturo. As is typical of the artist’s work, the installation combines spatiality and experiential elements, along with the artist’s interest in public space and architecture. The artwork will be on display 24 hours a day from 16 November, 2024 to 28 February, 2025.

Pasi Rauhala’s Kudos (2024) has been created in collaboration with EMMA and City Events Espoo. Its aim is to bring joy and light to residents and passers-by through public art. The work highlights the significance of art, design, and architecture in the residential environment and urban landscape of Espoo’s Tapiola district.

Kudos will be part of the Lux Helsinki light art festival taking place in January.
